Neanderthal are a stone age tribe of short legged, barrel chested humanoids. They live up in the hills and mountains in a small tribes. Typically only aggressive when threatened. They live a hunter, gatherer lifestyle.
The tribe worships a god that lives in a cave. Their "god" is a remnant of the ancients. A supercomputer buried deep in an ancient ruin. Through the use of a projector it displays images to the neanderthals. Sending them on quests for it. Its goal is to expand its reach and take control of the world.
